I am just going to stand right here...

Much like most of my life, I stumble into things. I believe the conversation was something like:
"We need another girl on our team or we are not league sanctioned"
"and?"
"Do you know what a softball is?"
"sure"
"okay, you are our catcher"
And now, for the first time in my life, I am on a softball team...
Granted, I am the catcher. So, from what I can tell, I stand there and throw the ball back. Bat when its my turn, and run like hell, if and when I hit the ball. My team is in the "A" Division and very competitive and already disscusing things like "play-offs"...I am still standing on the field thinking "how did I get here again?" :)
