Manic Monday: Ornament

I hunted and killed my first ever “real” Christmas tree. It was fabulous experience. There was a horse drawn wagon, hot chocolate and Reindeer.
I did learn that real tree’s have much more depth in their branches. I was able to place all 198 ornaments and I could still place a few more with no problem. I did the sentimental thing and took the ornaments out with care, looking at each one and recalling the memory or person associated with it.
I am unsure why I am so enamored with ornaments, but I cannot resist the temptation when Hallmark begins its annual “Christmas in July” unveiling of the newest additions. It is great how an ornament can take you back to a special memory and bring a smile to your face years later.
