Thursday Thirteen

(13) Lessons I have learned on the Long Way

1) Caring about someone, doesn’t mean they will care about you.
2) Listen more than you talk.
3) Pick your hill to die on
4) Being Stubborn isn’t always a practical trait
5) Compromise isn’t easy, but it is a necessity
6) It is not what you are called, but what you answer to that is important
7) Karma has great GPS
8) Animals are great judges of character
9) Ranch Dressing and Heinz ketchup can make most food taste better
10) Its okay to love being a girl
11) Cooking isn’t everyone’s forte
12) The songs that you hate the most, stay stuck in your head the longest
13) It is never to late for happily ever after

RL,
I just realized that I stopped my rapid blog scanning to linger at your Thursday Thirteen post. Good stuff, baby.
I especially liked #2 listen>talk,
#6 what you answer to, #10 love being a girl (I'm a male but have a definite girly side), and #13 happily ever after. Even on bad days, I have blessings to count and don't want to miss out on the happiness they bring.
Your post made me happy! Thanks.
